So, bad news:
We were supposed to get my nephew and my niece for two weeks, and were looking forward to that, especially my mom. Unfortunately, their mother let my brother know the oldest was sick, so there was no way he could come take the kids.
Fortunately, after some negociations, she agreed to let him take them next week.
But in the meantime, the tickets my brother had to reserve are lost and non reimbursable. He will have to buy new ones, and he needs to be careful with money already.
And personally, I'm a bit suspicious of the timing - my ex-sister-in-law didn't mention there was a problem when she confirmed my brother could come and get them two days ago. And I can't help but notice that last time we had them, they were also sick and she didn't saw fit to tell us. Sure, maybe my nephew really caught a cold in less than two days at the crèche, but considering how the divorce is going, I can't help but suspect ulterior motives.

Good news:
My official diploma came in today mail. Meaning that now, in the case a possible employer ask for a copy, I can provide him one instead of a temporary attestation. Not bad... if I actually manage to get a job.

It does =(
But we shouldn't be surprised. It isn't like it's the first time she tell us at the last moment their father can't have them. She already did that once.
*sighs*
At least this time, she's just postponing the moment they can come for a valid reason, instead of just telling 'no'. And theorically, I think she could, at least until the judge gives his final decision.
