Quiet Week
Mar. 24th, 2013 01:03 pmRather quiet week.
Was offered a chance to pass my driving licence; had to decline because I wasn't feeling ready. Should be able to pass it next month, though.
Went to a rendezvous to a local agency tasked with helping young unemployed peoples (those under 25 years old) find a job or a formation. The person I met was very nice, but there's little they can propose me for now. Still, the conselor was very welcoming and tried to be helpful. She even mentionned they had a psychologist I could talk to if I needed. Which might not be a bad ideas if things don't look up.
She quickly picked up on the fact I was rather psychologically and emotionaly fragile at the moment. I don't know if I should be worried or relieved it's so noticeable... But at least, it gave me the impression to be cared about, which is not something I felt at other agencies.
Hoping to get a visit from my third brother soon; I still got a giant Hello Kitty stuffed toy I got at the funfair last week that I want to offer to his daughter. Hopefully, he'll come with his little family this afternoon.
Still browsing over TV Tropes and having fun while I do. Reading about some of those pushed me to watch a couple of movies again, with my sister. Saw The Emperor's New Groove, Con Air and the first two Die Hard movies. Still have the watch the following two, as well as Jumanji. Also watched a couple of episodes from the Justice League series in streaming; sadly, I can't seem to find working links for the ones I really want to see, such as A Better World or Wild Cards.
Still no new ideas for any fanfiction. Bothersome, but not new; I can spend months at time without writing a line. Anything I post over AO3 nowaday are old fics already posted on LJ. The best I did so far, in term of new works, is putting a couple of prompts on the TF anonkinkmeme, and it was one month ago already. *sighs* Can't say I'm very creative right now.
Also, saw a couple of trailers for upcoming movies. Despicable Me 2 should be fun to see. Evil Dead, on the other hand, was very, very spooky O_o
I kinda like horror movies (well, natural horror movies; some of them can be very funny due to poor acting, bad special effects or even just the plot), but I don't usually watch horror movies trailers. I stumbled upon Evil Dead by accident; YouTube put the bloody version of the trailer as an ad. while I was trying to get to a video... *shudders*
Oh, and my sister showed me the trailer for Warm Bodies. Now, it sounds like fun. Zombies movies, I kind of like; I certainly enjoyed Shawn of the Dead and Land of the Dead. A love story between a zombie and a human? Sappy, silly sounding and midly disturbing (he's dead, girl!) but some of the lines in the trailer were pretty funny, so I'm willing to give it a try.
