Slow day today.

My parents still have trouble making the new garage doors work; they've been on it since Thursday, and it isn't getting any better.

Brother L. checked with his bank about the thievery and went to the police. Not sure when he'll get his money back, and he was forced to ask his boss for an advance on his salary. Not fun at all...

My brother B. did some pastries following the recipes of a book he got as a Christmas gift last year; he did the recipe on the cover here: http://www.amazon.fr/go%C3%BBter-%C3%A0-New-York-Marc-Grossman/dp/2501074459
Not sure what the name is in english. I'm normally not really fond of lemons, but it was very good XD

Played New Super Mario Bros. on Wii with him tonight. Suprisingly, it went, well, mostly alright; I don't think I'll ever be good at platforms per se, but I managed not too die too often and help him along =D
But I would rather play Mario Party; sadly, neither him nor my sister are very interested XD
I'm also bidding my time to play Legend of Mana, but I really want to play later; watched some walkthrough to remind me just how pretty it was :)

I finally decided to go through the latest chapters added on Pottermore. Noticed the Slytherins had won the cup. Damn; we Ravenclaws were so close!
Surprisingly, going on Pottermore just gave me a boost to write an Harry Potter fic, for once. A one shot in a continuity I had started last year, called 'Carnet Magique' (or 'Magical Notebook'), that relate different tales of various OCs through the war with Voldemort and after. Not happy tales, mind you, since it deals with racism, legacies, tortures, death, reputations and various acts of bravery or cowardice, but I enjoy writing them. There so much one could imagine about what people did while Harry and co were searching for the Horcruxes, at school like in the rest of the country...
Been a while since I had wrote anything in french too; might be the sign I'll do more in the following weeks :)
Maybe I'll try to work on a translation someday.

Have a meeting tomorrow morning with the local 'help-job-seeking' agency; I'm supposed to do a 'fiche de valorisation'. Basically, it should help me point out my qualities and strongest points so I can easily point them out on my CV and during job interviews. It should help. I hope. My adviser seemed very hopeful about it, at the very least.

*sighs* Sometimes, I think I haven't chosen the best formation; it's not like people are seeking lot of librarians these days. And when they do, it's in places I've no access to, or they're seeking people with more experience than I have. Being a young degree-owner without prior working experience sucks -_-
And it's not like Pôle Emploi will do anything for me; they still haven't contacted me since I registered with them. Granted, I'm mustn't be high on their list; after all, I'm not 25 years old yet and I never worked aside of internships, so it's not like I get any money (in France, to beneficiate from Pôle Emploi or other organisms' monetary help, you need to either be 25 years at least and to never had gotten a job before, or to have worked at least three or four months to pretend to a monetary help; as I did neither, I just can get anything).
And with unemployment increasing each month, it's not like I'm priority, I guess.
Ah, well; someday, it'll be better, I hope. but it certainly isn't helping me growing up.
